Sara is a great parent although she wishes she could spend more time with her children, especially Hannah. Sara is the clever one of the family. On the surface she appears to be quite docile, but when required she can twist and mould things to suit herself. Without her family, the sky would be the limit for Sara, but she’s happy having her anchor and is naturally a home bird.

Sara Newman, formerly Sara Green, may not have such a wide and intricate history as her husband, but she’s no less important

. Initially Sara’s character was designed as a home-maker, but as writing began, a spark appeared in the character that has continued to grow and she’s blossomed into a multitasking mother of two and successful business woman.

Sarah and Mike love Hannah and Lance, but also have minds of their own. In Sara’s case, she still wants to achieve things on her own terms and it’s these qualities that would make her a great role model for today. It’s far too easy to sit back, but to do something, especially with a family in tow takes enormous courage and energy.
